Ingredients

  • 680 grams Salmon Fillet (Wild)

  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup

  • 2 tbsps Dijon Mustard (grainy)

  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt

  • ​1/4 tsp Black Pepper (coursely ground)

Directions

  • Soak one 12- x 7-inch (30 x 18 cm) untreated cedar plank in water for 2 hours.

  • In small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, mustard, salt and pepper; brush half over top of the salmon fillet. Cover and allow to marinate for about 20 minutes.

  • Place salmon, skin side down, on the soaked cedar plank and brush again with maple glaze.

  • Place plank on grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, brushing once with remaining maple glaze, until fish flakes easily when tested, 20 to 25 minutes.
