inspired by Gluten-Free Goddess
Gluten-free, dairy-free rich dark chocolate brownies - good enough to serve to company! Last time I made these, I indulged my passion for dark chocolate and sea salt by sprinkling a little coarse ground sea salt on top along with the chocolate chips - heavenly!
5 ounces high quality 70% cocoa dark chocolate
1/2 cup organic coconut oil
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup almond meal
1/4 cup sorghum flour
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 organic free-range eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon organic vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Dark chocolate chips for the top
